Today we’re slowing down, filling our plates, and soaking in the moments that matter most. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite days of the year, not because of the food (though let’s be honest, mom's stuffing is a highlight!), but because it brings us together in a way that feels cozy, grounding, and wholehearted with anticipation of the holiday season.

Yesterday afternoon we started off the holiday long weekend with our very own turkey trot, or a family walk/run in the neighborhood. This morning was devoted to traveling in the car in anticipation of watching the parade and smelling the aroma of dinner in the air. This afternoon will be all about good food, quality time with cousins for the little ones, and all being in one place at the same time.
